5. Future Tokenomics

We understand the importance of economic sustainability in play to earn gaming. We aim to develop an enduring economy for players of the game, developers and artists. to read find out more, please read our standalone tokenomics paper.

5.1 Mechanite

Mechanite ($NITE) is a Solana Program Library Token and is the native currency for MiniMecha and the future MechaVerse. The minting and burning of Mechanite, post token launch will primarily be driven by gameplay. That said we may adjust Mechanite mint and burn rates to ensure price stability. This is to ensure the game is accessible to new users while maintaining value for the existing players.

More details about the various split of $NITE will be provided closer to token launch.

5.2. Liquidity Pools

To ensure there is sufficient liquidity for people to buy and sell $NITE, we intend to create a liquidity pool for the $NITE/USDC pair. This pool aims to incentivize liquidity provision through a token emission schedule and fees from trading of the token.

5.3 NFTs

NFTs are a critical part of the MiniMecha Project. To celebrate our launch, 10,000 PFP NFTs will be released, forming the foundation of the MiniMecha community. This will give rise to exciting avenues for the team to evolve the game into reality.

As the game comes closer to fruition, we plan to airdrop owners of our PFP Mech NFTs a Generation 0 Mech NFT and equips which will be used for gameplay.

We expect most new NFTs to be created from in game play. We will only mint new mechs NFTs when absolutely necessary such as to help with onboarding new users or to ensure entry level gameplay is affordable.

A 5% royalty of all NFTs sales will go to the MiniMecha team.

5.4 Token Launch

We aim to launch our token $NITE in Q4 2021. To reward our existing supporters, we plan to offer NFT staking to earn $NITE.

5.5 Governance/DAO

We plan to gradually evolve MiniMecha and the MechaVerse into a community owned decentralised organisation. That said we are keen to watch developments in other token’s DAO efforts to determine the best model that will reflect the four key values of fun, community, meritocracy and economy.
